Corequisite: Must be enrolled in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

Overview

This unit will enable you to consider you own role within health and human service organisations, and apply and critique contemporary practice knowledge in areas such as leadership and management, team functioning and governance.

The Unit will conclude with a conference that includes presentations of research and project work from occupational therapy and physiotherapy students.

You will complete a range of on-line tasks while completing their fieldwork placement as part of the unit OCC4082

Learning outcomes

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

While completing their final fieldwork placement, you will complete five online tutorials (x5 two-hour online tutorials) and one online discussion forum task. Following completion of fieldwork, you will attend three workshops, one of which they will present their Honours or PCP Project findings at the Fourth Year Interprofessional Conference in Week 12 (subject to change).
