Overview
In this unit, you will continue developing your professional practice as a paramedic, guided by the professional standards and Code of Conduct that shape safe and ethical care. You will build on foundational patient assessment to manage common clinical presentations, applying principles of lifespan development and analysing key pathophysiological and epidemiological concepts.
Simulation-based learning will strengthen your situational awareness and risk-informed decision-making. Community-based work integrated learning will provide opportunities to apply your developing knowledge and skills in real-world contexts, demonstrating safe, competent practice at an advanced beginner level while fostering strategies to support your own health and professional wellbeing.
