Synopsis
In this unit you will integrate knowledge from your study of the primary health care environment and extend your skills in both emergency and community-based primary health care to support your transition to the workplace.
You will review the professional capabilities required of a paramedic, including ethical practice, safe and competent clinical care, communication, teamwork, leadership, and patient safety.
You will be encouraged to reflect on your personal strengths and clinical experiences to build professional behaviours and support continual improvement.
Learning will be applied through simulations and workplace placements to enhance your readiness for practice as a proficient practitioner.
