Overview
This unit will develop your ability to apply evidence-based practice (EBP) skills to patient care in both hospital and community pharmacy settings, by exploring topics in cardiology and general medicine. The unit focuses on clinical pharmacy skills: assessing patient information, identifying medication-related problems, making evidence-based recommendations, and formulating care plans. Reflective tasks throughout the unit will further develop your skills and professional practice portfolio. You must be a practising pharmacist in a position with patient contact. To undertake this unit, you are required to contribute your own cases.
