Synopsis
This unit explores key concepts in the fields of personality and social psychology science, with a major emphasis on contemporary theoretical perspectives. These perspectives will be considered, applied, and critiqued in light of current scientific evidence. The methods used to develop personality tests and measure social psychology concepts will be presented and critiqued. Learning activities will help you to apply personality and social psychological concepts to yourself and others, and gain an understanding of how personality and social psychology influences individual and interpersonal attitudes, behaviour, emotions, cognitions and decision making.
