Overview
You will develop a deep understanding of the approaches, practice framework, and processes for ethically working with individuals across the lifespan. The knowledge and skills gained will be embedded within researcher-practitioner and evidence-based practice models of mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to cultivate knowledge and skills for effectively working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Emphasis will be placed on promoting well-being, identifying mental health challenges, and raising awareness of preventive strategies. Moreover, you will apply your knowledge and skills in a manner that emphasises cultural relevance and social justice.

Describe how to apply developmental theories and research in a culturally responsive way to the mental health issues among diverse communities ranging from childhood to older adults.
