Overview

In this unit you will learn about scientific writing techniques, communication strategies, and different platforms which may be used for scientific communication. You will also be trained in the presentation of research results through development of a manuscript based on existing data that you will potentially be able to submit to an academic journal for publication. At the end of the unit, you are expected to have an understanding of core concepts in the field of science communication and to have developed the practical skills of writing and publishing research, which will prepare you for Honours and potential Postgraduate writing.
