Placements are arranged via a network of external providers with due regard given to the professional interests of the student. Students will be closely supervised in accordance with regulatory guidelines and should aim to achieve approximately 150 direct client contact hours over the course of the placement. Extra placement days may be required to bring the student up to the 400 direct client contact hours they are required to achieve overall by the end of the degree. Students will also attend Case Analysis each week and be rostered to present at least one case from their placement over the course of the unit.
