Overview
In this unit, you will continue to build upon your knowledge to further develop the competencies required for independent practice as a physiotherapist. You will reflect on your clinical experience within the Doctor of Physiotherapy so far and integrate it with tutorials and self-directed modules on pharmacology, digital health, dignity during work-integrated learning, appraising clinical guidelines and personal wellbeing.

Workload and teaching
On-campus: Before your PTY5206 placement, you will complete approximately 7 hours of clinical essentials development delivered as on-campus tutorials.
Off-campus: During the 7 weeks when you are not on clinical placement, an average of 16 hours of online modules and private study is required weekly. It is recommended to complete the off-campus workload of this unit in the weeks you are not on clinical placement for PTY5206.
