Synopsis
In this unit you will study the anatomy and physiology of major body systems. Anatomy practicals enhance your understanding of these systems. Lectures and workshops explore a range of pathologies that are known to occur in these body systems. In tutorials, you will learn to identify and describe the significant normal and abnormal features on radiographic images. This unit also introduces you to the pharmacological principles underlying drug action, drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion and the adverse reactions to contrast media.
