Synopsis
In this unit you will develop your existing knowledge of digital imaging systems and angiography from Semester 1. You will learn about evidence-based practice and basic research principles, digital health and the health care needs of vulnerable populations including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You will learn about infection control principles, including in aseptic and sterile environments. You will critically consider how the regulation of practice for radiographers applies to your practice as a radiographer, including the requirements for managing a deteriorating patient and culturally safe practice. You will consolidate your radiographic methods to an advanced level.
