Overview
Aimed at advancing your professional interests, the general education stream offers engagement in a range of contemporary educational areas. You will have the opportunity to strengthen both your domain knowledge, professional skills and real-life practices, through academic interaction with research and practices across contexts, aligned with contemporary educational dialogue. These contexts may include early childhood centres, schools, workplaces, vocational and tertiary education settings and community organisations. The course offers opportunities for action research and direct engagement with current educational debate and applicable practices. Some options are embedded within the course to span different educational specialisms, drawing from a wider suite of units.
