The course is structure in two parts: Part A. Indigenous business leadership essentials and Part B. Indigenous business leadership advanced theory and practice.
Part A. Indigenous business leadership essentials
These studies will introduce you to the business environment and personal leadership.
Part B. Indigenous business leadership advanced theory and practice
The focus of these units is organisational leadership and the integration of theoretical knowledge to the business environment though research and workplace projects.

The course comprises 48 credit points structured in two parts: Part A. Indigenous business leadership essentials (24 credit points) and Part B. Indigenous business leadership advanced theory and practice (24 points).
Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
Part A. Indigenous business leadership essentials (24 credit points)
You must complete:
- ADA5222 Indigenous design thinking and relationality
- BEX5501 Leadership: People and performance
- BEX5502 Leadership: Organisational strategy and performance
- BEX5503 Business environment
Part B. Indigenous business leadership advanced theory and practice (24 credit points)
a. You must complete one of the following units (12 credit points):
- BEX5504 Indigenous business leadership study program (12 credit points)
- BEX5505 Industry research project (12 credit points)
b. You must complete
- BEX5506 Accounting and finance for business leaders
and one of the following units:
Monash Business School:
- OPM5910 Project management fundamentals
or
Faculty of Law:
- LAW5348 Indigenous rights and international law

Entry requirements
English language
Monash Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test
