Master of Clinical Psychology

Overview

This course is designed to prepare you for work as a Clinical Psychologist in Malaysia. You will undertake coursework that is designed to develop your knowledge and skills in psychology and mental health to prepare you for working with clients where you will undertake assessment, diagnosis, formulation, treatment and prevention of psychological problems and mental illness across the lifespan.  

You will gain generalised and specialised clinical skills to manage complex mental health problems, that are culturally responsive, in order to help people thrive. You will undertake four placements supervised by experienced clinical psychologists. You will also conduct a clinical research project that has scope to positively impact the community under the guidance of experienced academics.
