Synopsis
In this unit, you will be introduced to important principles for undertaking research in the field of Data Science. The skills developed and knowledge acquired from this unit will prepare you to conduct and communicate your own research, as well as to be knowledgeable and critical interpreters of research more generally.
You will be introduced to the principles of research design, research ethics, and research methods and techniques of data collection and analysis appropriate to Data Science research generally. These skills will then be applied to the development, and written and oral communication of a research proposal.
