Overview
The unit will introduce you to the main debates, concepts and practices in the field of gender and international development. We will explore broader debates and conceptual frameworks relating to gender and development including conceptual approaches to gender and gender equity. Practice frameworks such as empowerment, gender analysis, gender budget formulation, gender sensitive evaluation, and gender mainstreaming will be explored.
