APG5373
Synopsis
This unit explores and analyses audience engagement in contemporary digital and networked environments. You will employ key research methods to evaluate diverse communication environments and consider their implications for audience participation and engagement. Drawing on this analysis, you will learn to design distinct communication environments and critically evaluate the effectiveness of particular strategies and technologies in engaging, persuading and mobilising their desired audiences or publics in purposeful ways, as well as the ethical concerns that these practices may raise.
