When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

   Identify relevant site, cultural and contextual parameters as part of design research;

   Apply knowledge from environmental science and building technology in the material, structural and constructional development of a medium scale, complex design project;

   Synthesise and visually communicate design research in the exploration of a medium scale, complex project design options and outcomes;

   Recognise the impacts of diverse forms of community consultation and collaboration during the design process;

   Promote health and wellbeing outcomes for Country through an understanding of Indigenous Peoples aspirations of care through appropriate siting, spatial configuration and material;

   Critically evaluate and communicate design options in response to the project objectives and brief.
