Synopsis
In this unit, you will explore spatial composition techniques and apply them to create spatialised sound design environments. You will learn to communicate concepts relating to sound design and spatialisation, developing the vocabulary and frameworks needed to discuss these specialised areas. You will work with peers to develop spatialised sound designs for performance contexts and learn to critically analyse existing compositions, examining how other artists employ sound design and spatial concepts in their work. By the end of the unit, you will have developed skills in spatial audio production, sound design, collaborative creative practice, and critical analysis of spatialised works.
