Overview

This unit explores performance as an action-based method of advocacy, mediation, and social/cultural transformation across the performing arts. Students will learn key concepts that help us understand, analyse and engage the relationship between performance and individual and collective agency, advocacy and activism. They will engage in both the study and making of performance as a tool for institutional and community transformation.
