Overview
Criminal justice agencies such as police, corrections, crime prevention, victim support, and border control, place a strong focus on evidence-based practice in relation to their area of operation and responsibility. In this unit, you will learn how the information that underpins such assertions is collected, analysed and presented. Such information can take the forms of surveys or interviews, but also digital technologies used in prevention and policing of new types of crime. This unit will equip you with the skills you need to be competitive, knowledgeable, ethical and professional in your chosen field of practice.
