Overview
In this unit you will gain an in-depth understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology and explore the impact of cardiopulmonary bypass on the structure and systems of the body. You will learn about developing perfusion strategies for anatomical and physiological variations as well as employing an evidence-based approach to support your practice. You will advance your skills in the interpretation of clinical investigations and effective communication in the clinical environment.
