Synopsis

This unit has been designed to be taken in conjunction with your final professional experience placement.

This unit prepares you for your transition into professional practice as a teacher and invites you to develop a deep and actionable understanding of your current and future role as a teacher. Drawing on a range of research evidence and the knowledge, skills and professional experiences developed during your course, you will complete a teaching performance assessment (TPA) in which you will plan, teach, assess and critically reflect on your performance. You will demonstrate you have achieved the identified Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate level.
