Synopsis
The unit provides a strong foundation in data analytics for a business management career. Most management decisions are made under uncertain conditions and therefore managers require analytical frameworks to leverage data as a strategic asset for creating competitive advantage. You will be exposed to real-world business issues and applications, and will learn to apply appropriate statistical methods for business analytics using computer softwares. These methods include descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. By presenting the content from a managerial perspective, you will be able to develop a managerial mindset towards making analytical-based business decisions.
