Synopsis

In this unit, you will be introduced to typical biochemical processes, including feedstock supply, reaction, separation and utilities of food bio-processes. Treatment and storage of the feedstock/product will also be examined. The unit will also focus on the operation and choice of typical equipment and processes. Safety issues and financial impact of food processes will be highlighted.
