Overview
This unit examines nursing leadership and the safety and quality of patient care in the context of clinical nursing practice. You will critically analyse contemporary leadership theories and their relevance and application to clinical nursing leadership. The unit also explores adverse events, risk management and continuous quality improvement in health care and focuses on the essential requirements to understand how to optimise patient safety and care quality.
