Overview

MED5105 is focused on facilitating the transition of students into the medical workplace as beginning interns. You will participate in a range of learning experiences which are designed to substantially enhance your clinical reasoning, diagnostic and case management skills. You will participate in supervised clinical practice and related learning activities (learning modules). You will have the opportunity to select discipline specialty area for one clinical placement rotation to enhance your experience and development of knowledge and skills in a particular area of clinical practice.

    Apply specialised knowledge, skills and reasoning in clinical consultations to formulate and justify diagnosis, investigations and management plan.

    Select, interpret and justify investigations based upon clinical findings, pathology of the disease, practicality and cost effectiveness and use results to develop and justify a management plan.
