Requisites

Overview

This unit offers a critical introduction to foundation of experimental and neuroscientific approaches to a variety of business issues including management, marketing, finance, and economics. Students will develop the recent achievements in these areas, experimental design, and ethical issues in the behavioural and neurosciences. Students will also practice how to apply this knowledge to conduct behavioural/neuroscientific experiments with facilities of Neurobusiness Laboratory in the School of Business. Students will be required to conduct their own research, engage in group discussion and activities and participate in other groups’ experimental studies.

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

    understand basic and necessary knowledge on behavioural neuroscience, and experimental design for application to business studies

    acquire experiential knowledge on experimental studies through laboratory activity.
