Overview

Psychosocial effects of work on individuals are explained from a preventive viewpoint. You will examine topics including mental health and its effect on employment, alcohol and drug use, disability discrimination, equal employment opportunity legislation, workplace health promotion and shift work.

    Communicate fluently using appropriate terminology to describe psychosocial hazards and risks and their prevention and control;

    Develop insightful and persuasive evidence-based recommendations to prevent, eliminate or reduce work-related stress and improve workplace culture and practice.
