Synopsis
In this unit you will build fundamental skills in wound management, including appraising and implementing appropriate consumables, therapies and interventions. This knowledge will enable you to successfully manage individuals with wounds to further enhance their ongoing care. Learning opportunities will build your skills in high level documentation and ongoing communication with multidisciplinary team of health professionals. The skills and knowledge that you will develop in this unit underpins subsequent units in the wound care course.
