In this unit you will have the opportunity to build fundamental skills in wound assessment, including the holistic assessment of individuals with wounds. This knowledge will enable you to successfully advocate for individuals living with wounds to further enhance their ongoing care. Learning opportunities will build your skills in wound documentation and ongoing communication with health professionals. The skills and knowledge developed in this unit underpins subsequent units in the wound care course.
