Synopsis
This unit forms the core element of Theme 4 – Research and Practice in Nutrition, building on knowledge and skills drawn from Theme 1, 2 and 3. In this unit, you will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct an applied research project in the area of human nutrition. Your learning within this unit will cover a comprehensive range of topics, including research methodologies, data collection and analysis, and the application of research findings to practical nutritional problems. Throughout the unit, you will engage in hands-on projects stimulating real-world research scenarios. By the end of the unit, you will have developed a thorough understanding of the research process in nutrition and be well-prepared to contribute to the field through your own research endeavours.
