- Teaching approachActive learning
The majority of teaching and assessment for this unit will occur during two intensive teaching blocks at the beginning (3-week block) and end of the semester (4-week block). This will be delivered on campus and include workshops, practicals and assessment in class. The first 3-week block will include private study time and meetings with a research mentor to assist you to write a scientific research article as a group. The second 4-week block will involve approximately 8 hours per week of in-person workshops, as well as private study time to complete assessment tasks. Throughout the semester, you will complete an online interprofessional module on anti-racism in healthcare (Advocates in Indigenous Health, Antiracism Challenge). This will require approximately 8-10 hours throughout the semester.
