Participatory community practice 2: Implementation

Synopsis
In this unit you will continue to work two days per week in collaboration with a community-based agency and apply the principles of enabling occupational participation, occupational rights and justice to promote health and wellbeing for an identified population.
Furthermore, you will learn and apply collaborative project management skills to implement, evaluate and report on chosen quality improvement activities that will enable occupational participation for your specific population.
You will consolidate skills in evidence-based practice by developing your project deliverable/s based on best practice. In this unit, you will also evaluate your project processes and the impact of your deliverable/s and use your findings to support project recommendations.
You will consolidate your communication skills by disseminating project information in written and verbal forms via a conference poster presentation and a written project report.
Finally, you will apply ethical principles to ensure safe practice when implementing a project plan that will contribute to service development.
