Synopsis
In this unit, you will cover the: loco-motor, lymphatic, cardio-vascular, and haematological systems.
You will study the principles and applications of radiation therapy planning, treatment, and patient care. You will be able to analyse and evaluate radiation therapy planning approaches and planning evaluation tools. This unit includes simulated learning online treatment planning activities that will allow you to develop further clinical and professional skills in planning.
You will analyse and evaluate the principles of quality assurance, clinical governance, health care standards, and the safe use of medicines in radiation therapy.
Whilst studying these topics, you will be encouraged to critically reflect, analyse and synthesis relevant information from the literature and reflect on your experiences.
