Overview
In this unit, you will focus on spatial advocacy and social contexts. You will explore the ways spatial design practice relates to and influences justice, resilience, and equity through examining critical issues around social, political, economic, and environmental issues.
You will develop your own ways of working with materials and construction in a manner to support these ideas, and build competency for effective communication of conceptual thinking that expands beyond utilitarian, problem solving design. You will learn to collaborate with experts and stakeholders within your project area.
