Overview
Civil engineers design, construct, maintain and operate infrastructure for the benefit of society. You will acquire skills, knowledge and experience in mechanics; transport, traffic and road engineering; building structures and technology; design of concrete and masonry structures; bridge design and assessment; geomechanics; and hydrology.
In this specialisation, you will have the opportunity to also pursue a minor in an engineering discipline that complements civil engineering.

Part E. Elective study - Specialisation36 credit points
Studying single degree engineering
36 credit pointsIn Years 3 and 4, the 24 points of electives must be level 3, 4 or 5 units and from your engineering specialisation technical electives list.
Electives must be completed at the required unit level to satisfy the course requirements. You may also use the elective study to complete an engineering minor that will complement your specialisation (This option is available only in Clayton).
