Overview

Economics delivers the strategic and analytical frameworks required to evaluate resource allocation, market behaviour, and policy impacts in global and local contexts. The major combines foundations in microeconomic and macroeconomic theories, enabling you to analyse market dynamics, interpret socio-economic indicators, and model strategic decision-making. You will develop practical expertise in data analysis, policy evaluation, and applied econometrics, while building essential capabilities in the responsible use of computational software and AI to synthesise complex economic data. This analytical training prepares you for professional roles in consulting, policy and industry where critical thinking and strategic judgement are essential.
