Overview

The Semiconductor and microsystems engineering specialisation is designed to equip engineers with the skills to develop and support emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles and high-performance computing. In this course, you will learn VLSI design, including HDL language, place and route, fitter, and timing analyses. In the fabrication process, the course covers front-end (from wafer and to deposition to pre-packaging) and back-end (packaging and assembly) processes.
