Overview
This course develops your expertise in educational design across all sectors. Throughout the course you will focus on the use of digital technologies to enable learning designs and effective instruction, whether it is in the context of online, blended, or hybrid classes. The course is highly relevant for educators and instructional designers who are seeking to enter into the educational design profession or to build their knowledge in the field. You will explore theoretical and practical models of educational design, content creation, interactive and collaborative learning, as well as assessment and feedback. You will investigate how to effectively implement learning technologies, engage with teams and enter into educational design partnerships. Completion of this course may lead to opportunities of employment as an educational designer in higher education, an instructional or learning designer in the corporate sector, a developer in online education and even a digital learning coach.
