Overview
As a registered psychologist, this course will prepare you to be eligible to commence a registrar program in educational and developmental psychology and to practise in a range of settings including primary and secondary schools, health and welfare services, hospitals, care facilities, clinics and private practice and within business and corporate environments. The course has been designed to further develop you as an evidence-based practitioner and independent professional who has the theoretical, research, assessment and therapeutic skills required for the practice of educational and developmental psychology. You will develop an advanced ability to think critically and analytically about the processes involved in educational and developmental psychology and the application of these to professional practice and research. This course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as a sixth year in educational and developmental psychology (APAC Level 4).
