This unit introduces you to program evaluation techniques and how they can be used to generate quality information about program performance. The unit provides you with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively commission and conduct program evaluations. Topics include: identifying issues and formulating questions for effective program evaluation; assessing and monitoring program processes, program outcomes and program impact; alternative strategies for program evaluation; measurement issues; and techniques for data collection, data analysis and evaluation.
