Overview
In this unit you will build on the foundations of level 1 and 2 Global Studies units. Working through problem-based learning scenarios, you will be expected to apply your knowledge of agency and social change to a complex and multifaceted global challenge. You will have the opportunity to explore one key issue in depth, such as the global refugee crisis, and understand how it manifests locally and the implications for change. The unit will provide you with a forum to bring together both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary skills that you have acquired over your degree. You will build on the synthesising of this knowledge to formulate practical, meaningful and ethical approaches to global challenges, in connection with stakeholders external to the university.
