Overview
In this unit you revisit and expand on your knowledge of media and communications developed in Level 1 and 2 units. It requires you to deepen and apply specific knowledge of gender, race and media practices to contemporary debates or problems. You will examine significant debates and theories relating to gender, race and media practices. Through a combination of directed reading and research, you will develop a high level of competence in theoretical analysis of racialised and gendered media industries and practices.
