You will explore the principles of cloud service and deployment models, gain hands-on experience with popular cloud platforms, and examine essential technologies such as virtualisation, containers, serverless computing, and web services. In addition, the unit covers key aspects of networking and security in commercial cloud environments. Learning activities are designed to build practical competence and conceptual understanding, enabling you to navigate and apply cloud technologies in real-world scenarios. You will have the optional opportunity to participate in an industry-related task. Successful participation will award up to 5 bonus marks applied to Assignments.
