Overview
This unit builds on the content covered in NUR2226, Nursing practice contexts 1.
Students will be introduced to the pathophysiology, pharmacology and evidence based nursing management for health consumers presenting with: neurological, gastrointestinal, hepatic, vascular and haematological conditions. In addition, the assessment and management of paediatrics, family centred care and care of gender specific health issues will be explored.
