Synopsis

This unit will introduce to you the principles of data production and the practical application of descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to real-world problems in various scientific fields. You will develop skills during applied classes including collaborative problem solving and using Microsoft Excel for statistical analysis of real world problems. Upon completion, you will be able to make informed statistical decisions and communicate your findings in a clear and scientifically meaningful manner.
