Overview
This unit introduces students to immersive environment design and production using game engine prototyping software. Building upon the 3D modelling and texturing skills from the prerequisite unit Foundations of 3D, students will learn how to deploy models to make expansive game worlds. Students will augment their creations with an immersive soundscape and convey narratives through simple interactions. Upon completion of this unit, students will have designed and produced several interactive game-level prototypes inspired by a variety of historical and contemporary sources.
