Synopsis
The unit will provide you the opportunity for integration of advanced health assessment skills, and application of evidence-based practice and ethical principles in the management of complex nursing situations in simulated and actual clinical settings.
You will be introduced to the nursing management of patients with complex and/or life threatening health problems.
Pathophysiology, pharmacology, and healthcare interventions will be critically evaluated in the
context of complex healthcare issues.
You will develop clinical judgement skills through the translation of knowledge involving the
management of the deteriorating patient.
