Overview

This unit will introduce you to the unique features of not-for-profit marketing. In this very diverse sector, commercially derived marketing concepts have played an important role, but also face some special challenges. The aim is to explore the similarities, differences and challenges for marketing in social and political marketing, government and education marketing, arts and culture marketing using examples from Australia and around the world.

Workload and teaching

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study.
